Fees

Our current fees are:

  • Initial consultation (60 minutes): $395
  • Standard psychotherapy session (45 minutes): $295
  • Brief psychotherapy session (20 minutes): $165

We do not offer a sliding scale. If you have questions about fees, payment, or out-of-network benefits, we would be happy to discuss them during your consultation.

Requesting an initial consultation

The initial consultation with a clinical psychologist allows us to confirm treatment eligibility, identify current symptoms and challenges, as well as determine preliminary treatment goals. It also provides an opportunity for you to ask questions and ensure our approach is a good fit for you. If you and the psychologist decide to proceed, you will be invited to begin treatment.

To request an initial consultation (for yourself, a family member, or your patient), please complete our secure, HIPAA-compliant New Patient Inquiry form.

Payments

Vital Psychological Therapeutics, P.C. is an out-of-network clinical provider. Patients are required to make payments at the time of services. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, JCB, Diners Club, as well as Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Health Savings Account (HSA) cards.

We are not a Medicaid/Medicare provider.

We provide patients with a monthly “superbill” listing all paid services that can be submitted to insurance companies for reimbursement. Please verify your insurance coverage, reimbursement rates, as well as options to use FSA/HSA cards prior to treatment. For more information about insurance reimbursement and/or use of FSA/HSA cards, please see Link.

We aim to be transparent about our fees and services. In accordance with the No Surprises Act, a federal law that is designed to protect consumers from unexpected medical bills, we will be happy to provide a Good Faith Estimate of the costs of planned clinical services.
